UAE's Saif Bin Zayed Spearheads Delegation At Arab Interior Ministers Council In Tunis
In a significant diplomatic engagement, President Kais Saied of Tunisia welcomed H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates, along with other Arab Interior Ministers at Carthage Palace. This meeting was held in light of their participation in the 41st session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, hosted in Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia.
Lt. General Sheikh Saif led the UAE delegation at this pivotal session, marking a moment of unity and collaboration among the Arab nations. During his visit, Sheikh Saif extended the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Saied, acknowledging the warm hospitality and support that played a crucial role in the success of the council's session.

The 41st session saw an impressive turnout with Interior Ministers from various Arab countries, high-ranking security delegations, and representatives from significant international organizations such as the League of Arab States, Interpol, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and the Arab Police Sports Federation.
Key discussions during this session revolved around enhancing joint Arab efforts and coordination in security and police matters, underlining the importance of collective action in addressing regional challenges.
Upon his arrival in Tunisia, Sheikh Saif was received by Kamel Feki, Tunisia's Minister of the Interior; Dr. Mohammad bin Ali Kuman, Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council; Dr. Iman Ahmed Al Salami, UAE Ambassador to Tunisia; along with other dignitaries. This reception underscores the deep-rooted relations and mutual respect between the UAE and Tunisia, setting a positive tone for future collaborations.
