Oakley And Meta Unveil Next-Gen Performance AI Eyewear For Athletes, Coming To The UAE This Year
Oakley has partnered with Meta to introduce a novel category of Performance AI eyewear, combining Oakley's iconic design ethos with Meta's leading-edge technology. This collaboration aims to enhance athletes' performance by providing deeper insights into their physical prowess and facilitating the sharing of their triumphs both on and off the sporting arena.
The initiative will be launched globally, featuring endorsements from Team Oakley athletes, including Kylian Mbappé, a World Cup champion, and Patrick Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl MVP.

The debut product from this collaboration, Oakley Meta HSTN, merges bold design with the latest technological advancements. It allows users to capture their adventures hands-free with an integrated camera, enjoy music and podcasts through high-quality open-ear speakers, and pushes the boundaries with an IPX4 water resistance rating.
Alex Himel, Meta's VP of Wearables, emphasized glasses as an ideal medium for accessing music, videos, and AI assistance. He expressed pride in the success of Ray-Ban Meta glasses and excitement over extending their collaboration to Oakley, a leading brand in the realm of sports innovation.

The Oakley Meta HSTN sets a new standard in AI eyewear with extended battery life, offering up to eight hours of use and 19 hours on standby, alongside a charging case that provides up to 48 hours of additional charge. It boasts Ultra HD 3K video recording for unparalleled clarity and includes Meta AI, facilitating unique interactions like assessing wind conditions for golfers or recording moments hands-free. This blend of Meta's AI technology with Oakley's design prowess signifies a leap in the evolution of performance eyewear.

The Limited-Edition Oakley Meta HSTN will be open for preorders from July 11, preceding the broader collection release later in the summer. The products will be available in a wide range of countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, with plans to expand to Mexico, India, and the UAE within this year.
