Over 1,000 IT Leaders Gather At IDC Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2024 To Explore AI Integration
This week, the Fairmont Riyadh was the focal point for over 1,000 IT leaders from across the kingdom as it hosted the IDC Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2024. The summit, organized by the International Data Corporation (IDC), took place on September 18–19. It focused on envisioning the future of IT, emphasizing the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into every aspect of digitalization.
The event was marked by Thomas Meyer, IDC EMEA's general manager and group vice president, delivering a compelling keynote. Meyer discussed the transformative impact of AI on the business landscape. He underscored the necessity for Chief Information Officers (CIOs) to prioritize AI in their strategies.
