Microsoft And Sharaf DG Launch Interactive AI Innovation Showcase At Malls In Dubai
City Centre Zahia and City Centre Deira in Dubai recently transformed into lively hubs of play and learning. Visitors experienced the Co-Blocks Innovation Showcase, an interactive event that merged technology with family fun. Children engaged in games, parents cheered, and onlookers gathered to witness how technology can be integrated into everyday life.
Microsoft Copilot+ partnered with Sharaf DG to create a vibrant mall experience. The Co-Blocks Innovation Showcase encouraged visitors to explore AI through curiosity and collaboration. This hands-on adventure allowed everyone to engage with innovation in a playful manner.

The Co-Blocks game board featured four zones showcasing real-world applications of Copilot+ PCs. In the Co-Create zone, children designed eco-themed posters, blending creativity with sustainability. The Live Captions zone offered real-time translation for K-pop lyrics, turning them into lip-sync challenges.
In the Click-to-Do area, students watched essays transform into catchy titles, discovering how AI can enhance learning. The Recall zone had families racing to retrieve recipes like the "midnight mug cake," demonstrating AI's role in simplifying daily tasks.
The success of Co-Blocks was due to strong partnerships. Microsoft showcased Copilot+ PCs' potential, making AI accessible for all ages. Sharaf DG provided a retail platform that turned stores into engaging spaces. Promocell, the creative agency behind the concept, ensured every interaction was impactful and joyful.
"Co-Blocks is a celebration of how technology can be discovered — not through manuals or presentations, but through play, connection, and shared experiences," said Vanessa Crasta, General Manager at Promocell Advertising and Marketing.
The activation quickly became popular among families who queued up to participate. Students turned challenges into TikTok moments while parents joined in the fun. Online buzz followed with numerous posts capturing the excitement. This experience showed children AI as a creative tool and parents its practical value.
"We wanted to show that technology doesn't have to feel complex or intimidating — it can be discovered through joy, curiosity, and play," added Crasta.
Co-Blocks marked a new chapter in experiential marketing for the UAE by transforming mall spaces into interactive classrooms for discovery. It set a benchmark for introducing innovation through experience rather than explanation.
By turning retail areas into imaginative playgrounds, Microsoft, Sharaf DG, and Promocell demonstrated that technology adoption begins with inspiration rather than instruction.
