HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 Launches With Liquid Metal Build And Underwater Sonar For Divers

Huawei has introduced the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, a premium smartwatch that pioneers underwater sonar-based communication. This innovation enhances safety and convenience for deep-sea divers.

The watch boasts a zirconium-based liquid metal case, offering exceptional durability. It is water-resistant up to 150 meters and includes audio functionalities. Additionally, it features a unique gap antenna system, ensuring faster internet connectivity even in challenging environments.

The smartwatch will be available for pre-order in the UAE starting 19th November, priced at 2,999 AED on Huawei's official website. Purchasers will receive gifts such as a 3-month free subscription to HUAWEI Health+, two years of HUAWEI Care+, and a 6-month free VIP Watch Face.

Available in Blue and Black, the WATCH Ultimate 2 is crafted with a zirconium-based liquid metal case. It features a dual-colour nanocrystal ceramic bezel and sapphire glass for enhanced durability. The bezel's material is known for its toughness and requires intricate manufacturing processes. Nanocrystal ceramic combines vibrant colours with a glossy finish, making it both elegant and resilient against scratches and corrosion.

The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 stands out as the first smartwatch supporting dives up to 150 meters with audio features like calling and music playback. Its 20 ATM water resistance ensures it can handle such depths while introducing an independent sonar communication system. This feature allows users to send preset messages and emoticons to other watches within a range of 30 meters.

An underwater SOS feature extends up to 60 meters, providing timely assistance during emergencies. This capability significantly enhances diving safety by facilitating communication even in challenging underwater conditions.

The watch's TruSense system, supported by X-TAP and rear super-sensing modules, offers precise health monitoring through the Health Glance feature. Users can access 11 key health metrics, including real-time fingertip SpO2 measurements, continuous heart rate tracking, and sleep monitoring.

The gap antenna system in the Ultimate 2 strengthens outdoor signal reception. Its Sunflower positioning system uses dual-band five-system positioning alongside advanced algorithms for accurate navigation in tough conditions. The eSIM feature enables standalone calls, while AI call noise cancellation ensures clarity amidst environmental noise.

Additional safety features include Fall detection, Emergency SOS, and High altitude monitoring, designed for adventurous users. The Battery Saver mode supports up to 11 days of use, while Standard mode offers around 4.5 days of usage.
