Huawei Debuts HUAWEI TruSense, A Leap In Health And Fitness Technology
On August 28, Huawei introduced the HUAWEI TruSense System to the global market. This system aims to make health measurable, enhancing users' lives through precise, science-based health and fitness technology.
Huawei's journey in the wearables market began 11 years ago. Since then, they have shipped over 150 million wearables and amassed more than 520 million users for their Huawei Health app. According to IDC, Huawei led the global market in on-the-wrist wearables shipments in Q1 2024 and has been the top wearable brand in China for five consecutive years.

The HUAWEI TruSense System integrates all of Huawei's latest advancements in vital sign monitoring. It is defined by six key characteristics: accuracy, comprehensiveness, speed, flexibility, openness, and iteration. This system addresses the growing demand for convenient and precise health monitoring capabilities among consumers worldwide.
To ensure continuous accuracy in vital sign monitoring and faster results, Huawei invested significantly in research across optical, electrical, and material sciences. These efforts aimed to overcome challenges posed by different skin tones, wrist sizes, and weather conditions. As a result, basic indicators like heart rate, SpO2, and blood pressure have received certification from authoritative industry bodies.
"HUAWEI TruSense is a major breakthrough for us in health and fitness sensor technology and will keep us at the forefront of technological development in this space. This digital health advancement will further help users pursue healthier lifestyles," stated Mr. Rico Zhang, President of Huawei's Smart Wearable and Health Product Line during the launch event.
The HUAWEI TruSense System measures over 60 health and fitness indicators across six major body systems. It also includes an emotional wellbeing component. Sensors track heart rate and autonomic nervous system data. This data feeds into an algorithm that assesses emotional wellbeing and stress levels, promoting both physical and mental health.
The flexibility, openness, and ongoing iteration of the HUAWEI TruSense System allow global partners from various sectors of the digital health ecosystem to contribute to future advancements in health and fitness technology. Huawei has collaborated with over 150 partners on pioneering research areas such as remote healthcare and family health management.
In the coming years, Huawei aims to remain at the forefront of health and fitness science by introducing more innovations that enrich users' lives. The first products powered by HUAWEI TruSense will be available for purchase this September.
