General Motors, Magna And Wipro Launch New Automotive Software Sales Platform
General Motors, Magna, and Wipro have announced their collaboration on a pioneering project to establish a sales platform named SDVerse, aimed at revolutionizing how automotive software is bought and sold.

Introducing SDVerse
SDVerse aims to provide a seamless digital platform where automakers and software developers can list and explore various automotive software features and attributes. This joint venture has seen Wipro investing $5.85 million to secure a 27% stake, as revealed in a regulatory filing. Meanwhile, General Motors and Magna will possess 46% and 27% stakes, respectively. The completion of this transaction is anticipated before the end of March.
The platform is currently under development, with expectations to house hundreds of software products and participants from across the automotive industry. This ranges from manufacturers to tech companies, each contributing to the evolving landscape of connected and advanced vehicles.
