Apple Watch Series 10 Anniversary Edition May Feature Major Updates

Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to feature a larger display and a refined design. A Bloomberg report suggests that Apple plans significant updates for the next-generation Apple Watch to mark its tenth anniversary. The new model may have a display size similar to the Apple Watch Ultra models. Additionally, Apple might brand this series as an anniversary edition, akin to the iPhone "X" in 2017.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3: Design

According to Bloomberg, Apple has internally codenamed two models of the Watch Series 10 as N217 and N218. Both models are anticipated to feature larger displays, comparable in size to the Apple Watch Ultra's display. Additionally, these watches are expected to be thinner while maintaining a design similar to the current generation model.

The next-generation Apple Watch Ultra is not expected to undergo significant design changes, according to the report. This high-end model will likely retain its current look with only minor adjustments.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3: Performance and Apple Intelligence

Both the Apple Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 3 are anticipated to be powered by a new chip. This processor is reportedly designed to support future AI-powered tools and features. However, Apple Intelligence AI features will not be integrated into these wearables at this time.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3: Features

Apple intended to introduce new health monitoring features, including high blood pressure detection and Sleep Apnea detection, in this year's models. However, these features have been delayed due to reliability issues during testing. The Sleep Apnea detection feature requires blood oxygen saturation level measurement, leading to a legal dispute with Masimo Corp.

The report suggested that Apple could announce these new features at an anticipated launch event in late September but may not release them until later. Additionally, Apple is working on glucose monitoring for its watches; however, this feature is not expected on the Apple Watch Series 10 this year.

The upcoming models are set to commemorate Apple's decade-long journey in wearable technology with notable enhancements in design and performance.
