Amazon Introduces Echo Spot In UAE: Smart Alarm Clock With Alexa
Amazon has introduced the Echo Spot, a stylish and adaptable smart alarm clock, to its Alexa-enabled device range. Designed for bedside use, it offers various custom clock faces and vibrant colours. The gradual lighting display allows users to easily set and view alarms, and check the time, weather, prayer notifications, or song titles. It also features a directional speaker that produces rich sound.
The Echo Spot is available in Black, Glacier White, or Ocean Blue for Dh334.99. Prime members can purchase it for Dh244.99 during Prime Day while stocks last.
Customisable Features
Echo Spot's display can be tailored to fit your bedroom decor. Choose from six colour options—orange, violet, magenta, lime, teal, and blue—or mix and match with different clock faces. The colourful display also shows song titles when music is playing. To skip songs, simply ask Alexa or tap the screen. Volume can be adjusted using buttons on top of the device or by asking Alexa.
Users can ask Alexa to set alarms on Echo Spot with commands like "Alexa, set a weekday alarm for 7am with 90's alternative." Four new custom alarm sounds—Aurora, Daybreak, Endeavor, and Flutter—are available. To snooze an alarm, just tap the Echo Spot when it goes off. Additionally, users can request weather updates and see temperature illustrations like a sun or rain cloud on the screen.

The Echo Spot includes a 1.73" front-firing directional speaker that delivers clear vocals and deep bass. Users can ask Alexa to play music or podcasts from popular providers like Anghami and Spotify.
