Ethika Insurance Broking has been honored with the Special Jury Recognition for Claims Excellence. At the India InsurTech Summit 2026, the judging panel focused on a singular metric: the effectiveness of claims management. Over the past year, Ethika has assisted with more than 15,000 claims, averaging over 40 daily.

Hyderabad, Telangana, 30 October 2026: Ethika Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd, an IRDAI-licensed, bootstrapped employee benefits brokerage, was awarded the Special Jury Recognition for Claims Excellence at the India InsurTech Summit 2026 in Mumbai. While many industry accolades evaluate a firm’s overall performance, this specific honor focused on the critical juncture when an employee relies on their corporate insurance coverage. For Ethika, this interaction is the core of their operations. Throughout the past year, Red Carpet, the company’s internal claims division, managed over 15,000 cases, ranging from securing cashless approvals for surgeries and coordinating late-night hospital discharges to challenging reduced claims with insurers.

The work behind the recognition

Before any file is submitted to an insurer or TPA, it is first reviewed by Ethika’s internal claims team. This process ensures that any documentation gaps are identified and resolved on the client's end before submission. Should a claim be rejected or partially settled, a specialist conducts a granular review of the policy terms and escalates the matter in writing, leveraging the specific language of the policy to advocate for the client.

This proactive approach begins well before a claim is filed. Ethika negotiates policy wording at the time of placement, ensuring that the clauses employees rely on are firmly established within the policy terms before they are ever needed.

Ten years licensed, no outside money

Established in Hyderabad in 2015 by Susheel Agarwal alongside cofounders Sarath Reddy and Sandeep Mukka, Ethika secured its IRDAI broking license on 8 August 2016. The firm has operated as a bootstrapped entity since its inception, achieving profitability in its first year while maintaining independence from both insurer ownership and external investors.

A year of recognition

This award serves as the highlight of a successful year for the organization. Ethika achieved Great Place to Work Certification for 2026 and was honored with the Indian Chamber of Commerce award for Best Innovations Led by Technology & Insurtech at the 6th Emerging Asia Insurance Conclave in Thailand this past February. Additionally, the company surpassed 4,000 Google reviews with a 4.9 rating in September. Insurer partners have also acknowledged Ethika’s performance, presenting the firm with the ICICI Lombard CEO Elite Club award in Lisbon and Digit Insurance's CEO's Elite Club award at Lakshya ’26.
