Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, stated that the programme's goal is to empower Emirati healthcare graduates. It aims to facilitate their entry into the labour market by offering training and practical experience. This effort supports Emiratisation in healthcare and contributes to workforce development.

Al Humaidan highlighted plans to expand the programme to include more healthcare specialisations. There are also intentions to increase strategic partners and training locations, align with national Emiratisation strategies, and explore international partnerships. Regular evaluations will ensure continuous improvement according to Department of Health standards.

The training programme spans six to twelve months. Trainees can rotate among participating institutions based on preference, under the guidance of experienced professionals. Regular assessments and feedback are integral parts of this process.

This initiative not only strengthens cooperation between educational institutions and healthcare providers but also enhances corporate social responsibility efforts. By integrating with national strategies, it aims to create a robust framework for developing skilled professionals in the healthcare sector.

The programme's success relies on strategic partnerships and effective coordination with various stakeholders. Continuous feedback from trainees and partners will be used to refine the programme further, ensuring it meets evolving industry needs.

In wrapping up, ZHO's "Mars" programme represents a significant step towards empowering local healthcare graduates in Abu Dhabi. By providing essential training and fostering collaboration, it aims to bridge gaps in employment opportunities within the sector while supporting broader national goals for workforce development.
