Zayed University Graduation Ceremony Celebrates Class Of 2025 With H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony for Zayed University's Class of 2025. The event celebrated the accomplishments of 2,088 students from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. Held over three days from 18th to 20th November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, it marked a significant milestone for the graduates.
The ceremony was graced by Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Empowerment and Chairperson of the Zayed University Board of Trustees. Sultan al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, along with members of the University’s Board of Trustees, distinguished guests, and families also attended. This year’s graduation included the 24th cohort of female students and the 14th cohort of male students.
The graduating class represented all eight colleges at Zayed University: Business, Communications and Media Sciences, Interdisciplinary Studies, Technological Innovation, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural and Health Sciences, and Arts and Creative Enterprises. Additionally, postgraduate programmes were part of this diverse academic celebration.
This year's class consisted of 1,732 female undergraduates and 310 male undergraduates. There were also 46 postgraduate students among them. Notably, 317 students graduated with honours across undergraduate and master’s programmes, making up 15% of the total graduates.
H.H. Sheikh Saif extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates. He expressed confidence in their ability to contribute significantly to the UAE's progress with their acquired knowledge and skills. "The nation’s future relies on dedicated young people who will help realise the ambitions of the wise leadership," he stated.
Shamma Al Mazrui congratulated both graduates and their families. She highlighted that graduation is just the beginning of an important new phase in their academic and professional journeys. She described them as capable learners who have developed strong knowledge and values.
Values Beyond Academics
Al Mazrui emphasised that true success is measured by individuals' constructive impact through responsible conduct and dedication. She stressed that integrity, courage, humility, and loyalty are essential principles guiding meaningful contributions to society.
She acknowledged parents' crucial role in their children's success by providing unwavering support throughout their educational journey. Their dedication formed a "hidden curriculum" that no classroom can replicate.

Dr Kevin Hall, President and CEO of Zayed University, addressed graduates with pride: "Thank you in advance for the contribution you will make... I am proud of you." His words echoed Zayed University's commitment to nurturing future leaders aligned with UAE Centennial 2071 vision.
