Zayed Higher Organisation For People Of Determination Aids 28,000 Beneficiaries With Comprehensive Services

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and rehabilitation services. It aims to enhance the well-being and quality of life for People of Determination in Abu Dhabi. The organisation supports 28,000 beneficiaries, including 1,700 individuals enrolled in its care centres across the emirate, as reported on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December.

Throughout 2024, ZHO has launched various initiatives to improve its services. Under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the organisation has expanded its offerings by incorporating advanced scientific and specialised equipment. This progress is largely due to leveraging global technological advancements, especially in artificial intelligence.

ZHO has broadened its strategic partnerships by collaborating with Arab and international institutions. These collaborations aim to serve diverse categories of People of Determination effectively. Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, stated, "We take pride in the initiatives and projects we have successfully implemented to equip People of Determination with the necessary skills for independent living."

Al Humaidan further emphasised their commitment to empowering individuals and fostering an inclusive society. He highlighted their dedication to developing innovative programmes that enhance abilities and boost self-confidence among People of Determination. These efforts are designed to bring happiness not only to them but also to their families.

The organisation provides care and rehabilitation services that meet global standards while offering employment opportunities and social integration. Their goal is for every individual with determination to participate fully in all aspects of Emirati society. Al Humaidan noted that the support from wise leadership guides their work.

He expressed aspirations for introducing further improvements that elevate life quality for People of Determination in Abu Dhabi. The organisation plans a series of projects focused on research and development aimed at creating practical solutions for overcoming challenges faced by these individuals.
