Zayed Foundation Aids Lebanon with AED 5 Million

H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised that aiding Lebanon aligns with the UAE’s humanitarian mission under its wise leadership. He noted that these efforts reflect the UAE's commitment to supporting both brotherly and friendly nations through development aid. The UAE's ethos of generosity and compassion is deeply rooted in its history.

His Highness stated that these values have been integral since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Known for his prompt assistance to nations affected by natural disasters or conflicts, Sheikh Zayed laid a foundation of humanitarianism that continues today.

Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi praised the UAE leadership's support for Lebanon and highlighted their resilience in challenging times. He explained that the foundation’s contribution is part of a larger campaign initiated by UAE leaders. This initiative encourages participation from charitable organisations and individuals to extend aid to Lebanon.

Al Falahi also acknowledged the strong response from UAE citizens and residents who showed solidarity by providing essential supplies. This response underscores a collective commitment to helping those affected by current circumstances.

Ongoing Projects in Lebanon

The Zayed Foundation has undertaken several significant projects in Lebanon as part of its humanitarian mission. These include the Sheikh Zayed School in Tripoli and Sir El Dinnieh Government Hospital. Other initiatives like Saida Technical Institute for Young Women and the Zayed Library at Manar University further demonstrate this commitment.

These projects align with structured plans designed to reach those in need across various situations and times. The foundation aims to support communities through clear strategies that ensure effective assistance delivery.

This comprehensive approach highlights how humanitarian work remains a cornerstone of UAE policy under its leadership's guidance.
