Zayed Charitable Foundation And Astana Government To Establish Centre For Children Of Determination

In a significant move towards enhancing the lives of children with disabilities, the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has inked a pivotal agreement with the government of Astana, Kazakhstan. This collaboration, witnessed by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, and Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, marks a milestone in the efforts to support children of determination. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the AVPN Global Conference 2024 in Abu Dhabi, running from 23-25 April 2024.

The agreement was formalized by Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Director-General of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Yerlan Kanalimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Astana City. The presence of Janara Nugomanova, Director of International Cooperation in Astana, and Jani Du Latoli, Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors of Astana City, underscored the significance of this partnership.

Under this agreement, a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre will be established in the Esil district of Astana, spanning an area of 2.18 hectares. This centre is dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for children with disabilities and those at risk due to various factors. The project's completion timeline is set not to exceed 24 months from its inception date, with the Astana City Government ensuring all necessary infrastructure connections, permits, licences, and approvals are in place to facilitate smooth progress.

This initiative is part of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation's commitment to supporting comprehensive development efforts across Kazakhstan. It aims to foster bilateral relations while consolidating friendly ties between the two entities. Dr. Al Falahi expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership, highlighting it as a step towards building a better future for people of determination and addressing their needs effectively.
