Zayed Charity Run Miami 2026: UAE Delegation Joins International Stop
Miami is preparing to host the 18th Zayed Charity Run – Miami 2026, a 5-kilometre charity race scheduled for 31st January in Coconut Grove, starting at Miami City Hall and ending at Regatta Park, with proceeds supporting the National Kidney Foundation of Florida and highlighting a humanitarian mission inspired by the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
This edition is the first international stop for the Zayed Charity Run in 2026, with Budapest in Hungary set to host the next event in May, underlining how the initiative now spans several locations worldwide while keeping its core focus on community health, philanthropy, and public participation through sport.

Organisers are planning extensive logistics for the Miami race to manage a diverse field of runners across different ages and nationalities, aiming for strong community engagement around Coconut Grove, with race infrastructure, safety arrangements, and volunteer coordination designed to support both competitive runners and recreational participants throughout the 5-kilometre course.
A dedicated delegation from the UAE will join the Miami 2026 event for the first time, including 100 male and 50 female runners, reflecting the growing presence of Emirati athletes in international sporting events that combine physical activity with charity, and reinforcing the link between the Zayed Charity Run and its roots in the UAE.
The prize fund for the Zayed Charity Run – Miami 2026 totals US$20,000, providing awards for top finishers and additional raffle incentives that add to the race-day atmosphere.

Through continued expansion, the Zayed Charity Run highlights how a campaign that started in the UAE is reaching communities worldwide, with each international stop, including Miami and Budapest, reflecting a shared commitment to place people, public health, and social responsibility at the centre of its activities.
Mohamed Helal Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the Zayed Charity Run, said "the Miami stop represents a key milestone in the initiative’s international journey, noting that its continued presence in the United States reflects growing global confidence in its philanthropic mission."
"He added that the run has established itself as a global model combining sport and social responsibility through sustained coordination with partners, ensuring its long-term impact across international destinations."
With Miami preparing detailed organisational plans, a large UAE delegation taking part, a defined route through Coconut Grove, and funds directed to kidney health services in Florida, the Zayed Charity Run – Miami 2026 strengthens the initiative’s international footprint while maintaining its original ethos linked to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s vision of giving.
