In a significant operation at the Al-Haditha border crossing, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) successfully intercepted two smuggling attempts, seizing over 63,000 Captagon pills concealed within two vehicles. The first vehicle was found to be carrying 41,279 Captagon pills, while the second was concealing 22,000 pills. These interceptions highlight the sophisticated methods employed by smugglers and the equally advanced tactics of Saudi customs officials to thwart such activities.

In a collaborative effort with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, ZATCA's vigilance led to the arrest of five individuals who were awaiting the arrival of these narcotics.
