ZATCA Boosts Efforts To Smooth Pilgrims' Entry At Saudi Ports For Hajj

The staff of the Customs Authority at the Kingdom's land, sea, and airports are diligently working to receive and assist pilgrims coming to perform Hajj rituals. They are focused on efficiently managing the customs services system to ensure a smooth experience for the pilgrims.

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has explained that during the Hajj season, they aim to contribute to facilitating entry procedures for pilgrims coming to the Kingdom. The authority also aims to achieve practical cooperation and continuous coordination with relevant authorities to provide unified efforts and integrated performance, ultimately improving the quality of services provided to the pilgrims.

Efficient Hajj Entry by ZATCA at Saudi Ports

ZATCA has made significant preparations to receive the pilgrims, with the capacity to process over 1,800 buses per day at land customs ports. The authority also provides services through more than 230 designated routes for buses and cars, along with over 10 equipped model halls and more than 290 service counters to streamline customs procedures.

ZATCA has placed a strong emphasis on leveraging the latest technologies at all its customs ports. This strategic move ensures tight customs control, underscoring its dedication to efficient and effective service.

The authority reiterates its commitment to providing the best customs services for the pilgrims, aligning with the vision of the Saudi leadership to facilitate the pilgrims' entry and provide comprehensive services for their entire stay in the Kingdom, emphasizing its dedication to the pilgrims' welfare.
