SDAIA Prioritises Youth Empowerment For AI Leadership In Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) prioritises empowering young Saudis in data and AI. Recognising youth as the nation's future, SDAIA supports them to drive the Kingdom's aspirations for global leadership in these fields. This aligns with Saudi leadership's focus on human capital, ensuring young Saudis contribute effectively to society and Vision 2030 goals.

Under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, SDAIA has developed pathways for Saudi talent to study data science and AI at top global universities. This initiative aims to equip them with advanced technology skills, benefiting both the Kingdom and the global community while supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals.

SDAIA invests in both male and female youth, viewing them as an inexhaustible national resource. By channeling their creativity into solutions, they have driven numerous digital initiatives. SDAIA offers a variety of local and international training programs, enhancing their AI knowledge and skills significantly.

These training programs are conducted at SDAIA's headquarters, Saudi universities, or abroad with leading experts. Such efforts have enabled young Saudis to enter the labor market professionally and inspired further academic excellence. Over 840,000 trainees have benefited from these programs so far.

The "One Million Saudis in Artificial Intelligence" initiative is a flagship program offering AI training and certification in partnership with Microsoft. With more than 472,000 registrations, it exemplifies SDAIA's commitment to developing national expertise in AI through professional standards and educational programs.
