Participants And Partners Of The 6th Young Arab Media Leaders Programme Celebrated
Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre, attended a ceremony honouring 53 young men and women from 16 Arab countries and over 20 international and Arab media institutions. The event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marked the conclusion of the sixth edition of the Young Arab Media Leaders Programme.
The programme, organised by the Arab Youth Centre, spanned four weeks across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. During his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Al Neyadi emphasised the importance of investing in youth for societal progress. He stated, "H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed believes that youth are a force that we must invest in and provide with all opportunities for development."

Dr. Al Neyadi highlighted that no society can progress without leveraging the power of its youth, particularly in the media sector. He noted that this sector significantly contributes to the global reputation and status of Arab nations and communities. Additionally, Dr. Al Neyadi honoured partner media entities and institutions for their roles in upskilling participants and supporting their development journeys.
The Young Arab Media Leaders Programme included a series of specialised seminars and lectures on media content production. These sessions were presented by leaders and specialists in the media field. The initiative aims to enrich the Arab media sector with highly qualified individuals who understand the issues faced by Arab people and can explore them from a media perspective.
The programme is an intensive upskilling initiative that engages prominent media organisations and experts to provide youth with the knowledge and experience required to advance the Arab media sector. It seeks to equip participants with skills that will enable them to become active contributors across various fields of development.
Dr. Al Neyadi also took the opportunity to honour partner media entities and institutions for their contributions. These partners played a crucial role in upskilling participants, supporting their development journeys, and offering them employment opportunities.
The ceremony underscored the commitment of Arab nations to invest in their youth and develop future leaders in the media sector. By providing young individuals with opportunities for growth and development, the programme aims to create a new generation of media professionals who can address contemporary issues effectively.
