YesAgain Group Launches New Facility In Sharjah's SAIF Zone To Boost Electronics Refurbishment Capacity

YesAgain, a leading Microsoft-Authorised Refurbisher, has opened a new facility in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone). This expansion aims to triple its capacity from 100,000 to 300,000 devices annually. The facility spans 9,000 sqm and represents an investment of over AED30 million. This move highlights the growing demand for YesAgain's services in the region.

The new facility was inaugurated by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, alongside YesAgain's Founder and CEO Mohammed Shamso and COO Dr. Ahmed Shamso. Al Mazrouei praised YesAgain's choice of Sharjah for its Middle East expansion, attributing it to the emirate’s reputation as a top investment destination. He credited this success to SAIF Zone’s ability to attract high-quality investments under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.

YesAgain Expands Operations in Sharjah's SAIF Zone

YesAgain is committed to environmental sustainability through its operations at SAIF Zone. The company aims to reduce CO₂ emissions by 60,000 metric tonnes annually and conserve about 225 million litres of water each year. These efforts align with their goal of minimising resource waste and reducing carbon emissions during refurbishment processes.

Al Mazrouei toured the facility and learned about the advanced AI technologies used in refurbishing electronic devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones. He also noted the sustainable practices employed by YesAgain to minimise environmental impact. "His Highness’s vision is aimed at positioning Sharjah as a global investment hub by offering value-added services for investors across various sectors," Al Mazrouei stated.

Mohammed Shamso expressed that opening the new facility marks a significant step forward for YesAgain. "Opening our new facility is a significant step forward, not just boosting our production capabilities, but also showing YesAgain's commitment to a more sustainable future globally," he said. The company's presence in France and the UK complements its Middle East operations.

Strategic Location and Infrastructure

SAIF Zone offers strategic advantages such as state-of-the-art infrastructure and competitive services that bolster YesAgain's growth in UAE markets. Mohammed Shamso highlighted these benefits: "This gives us the opportunity to lead the electronics maintenance sector by focusing on innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility." The zone provides customs services, fast licensing, shipping services, and immediate customs clearance.

As one of the largest companies in electronics refurbishment, YesAgain adheres to high standards for quality management and environmental responsibility. "This expansion will fuel our ongoing efforts to play a key role in making a more sustainable future," Shamsu stated. The company remains dedicated to solidifying its position as a global leader in electronics refurbishment.

YesAgain plans further regional expansion to reduce e-waste while conserving natural resources. Building on past successes in cutting CO₂ emissions by 600,000 metric tonnes through sustainable practices underscores their commitment to environmental stewardship.
