Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak Visits SDRPY Headquarters To Review Development Projects
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Yemen's Prime Minister, visited the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) headquarters in Riyadh. He was accompanied by a delegation and met with SDRPY General Supervisor Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber. During this visit, they discussed the program's projects and initiatives across 14 Yemeni governorates.
The SDRPY initiatives cover eight sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, capacity building for government institutions, and development programs. Recent developments include laying foundation stones for a medical college, a girls' educational complex, and a water resource project in Marib Governorate.

Dr. bin Mubarak received updates on the completion of the first phase of Al-Abr Road's expansion and rehabilitation. He also learned about ongoing work at the Al-Wadiah border crossing rehabilitation project. These infrastructure projects are crucial for improving connectivity and accessibility in Yemen.
Dr. bin Mubarak highlighted Saudi Arabia's significant role through SDRPY in enhancing Yemen’s growth and prosperity. He praised the program’s commitment to improving life quality across Yemen through its various projects and initiatives aimed at fostering development.
Ambassador Al Jaber remarked: "Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is committed to supporting Yemen's future, stability, and prosperity with the help of its citizens, as per a development vision led by the Yemeni government to achieve comprehensive growth in Yemen."
Both parties acknowledged the strong cooperation between the Yemeni government and SDRPY. They emphasized ongoing coordination to advance development efforts that deliver sustainable projects and initiatives. These efforts aim to improve daily life for Yemenis by creating jobs and enhancing infrastructure in key sectors.
