During his visit to Qalansiyah District, Al-Eryani reviewed several SDRPY projects, including a new power station aimed at increasing electricity generation capacity in Socotra. This project will ensure a reliable power supply and enhance infrastructure resilience against adverse weather conditions like seasonal cyclones. It also includes training programs to improve local operators' skills in operation and maintenance.

The power station project involves installing two 1.46-megawatt generators integrated into the existing public electricity grid. This initiative is part of broader efforts to boost energy reliability in the region. Additionally, Al-Eryani visited the Qalansiyah model school, which features modern facilities such as science and computer labs, along with sports courts for volleyball and basketball.

The school aims to improve students' academic performance while promoting a well-rounded education through extracurricular activities. Al-Eryani emphasized Saudi Arabia's economic support to Yemen, amounting to $500 million. This financial aid strengthens Yemen's government budget and supports the Central Bank of Yemen, contributing to stability and prosperity for its people.

Al-Eryani commended SDRPY's impactful projects in Socotra that cover key sectors like infrastructure, transport, healthcare, economic development, and education. These efforts are part of 263 development projects implemented by SDRPY across various Yemeni governorates in eight vital sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, government capacity building, and development programs.

The extensive range of projects undertaken by SDRPY highlights its commitment to improving living conditions in Yemen. By focusing on essential areas such as infrastructure and education, these initiatives aim to foster long-term growth and stability in the region.
