Yemeni Information Minister Dr. Muammar Al-Eryani Attends Global Harmony 2 Cultural Events

Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Dr. Muammar Al-Eryani attended the Yemen Culture Week events, part of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative. This initiative is organised by the Ministry of Media in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) under the Quality of Life Program, supporting Saudi Vision 2030. The event aims to strengthen ties between Yemen and Saudi Arabia through cultural exchange.

Minister Al-Eryani highlighted that hosting such events underscores the brotherhood between the two nations. He noted that Saudi Arabia excels in organising humanitarian initiatives, which have recently delighted over 400,000 Yemeni visitors. This significant turnout demonstrates the initiative’s impact and importance in fostering cultural connections.

Yemeni Minister Attends Global Harmony 2 Events

The minister was joined by a group of international officials in Yemen. Among them were Ambassador of Japan to Yemen Yoichi Nakashima, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy to Yemen Jonathan Peccia, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Yemen Zhao Cheng, and Deputy Ambassador of Türkiye to Yemen Jihad Koçsuk. Several other officials and media representatives also accompanied them.

The delegation members expressed admiration for the event's diverse cultural displays. These included traditional performances, performing arts, costumes, and handicrafts. Such activities highlight Yemeni culture's richness and deep heritage. The event provided a platform for showcasing these unique aspects to an international audience.

The pavilions at the event offered insights into Yemeni life by allowing visitors to explore various villages and cities. They could experience different lifestyles across regions in Yemen and discover traditional costumes reflecting environmental diversity and cultural richness.
