Yemen Culture Week Launches Under Global Harmony 2 Initiative To Showcase Cultural Diversity

The Yemen Culture Week commenced in Riyadh, drawing a diverse crowd of citizens, residents, and the Yemeni community in Saudi Arabia. This event is part of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative by the Ministry of Media and the General Entertainment Authority (GEA). Over eight days, visitors will experience Yemeni heritage through music, entertainment, and traditional arts.

Approximately 80 performers are showcasing traditional Yemeni folk arts. The event also features musical performances and entertainment shows. A select group of artists and influencers are participating to enhance the cultural experience. This initiative is part of the Quality of Life Program, supporting Saudi Vision 2030's goals.

Yemen Culture Week Celebrates Heritage in Riyadh

The event aims to engage residents in Saudi Arabia by highlighting cultural diversity. It provides an interactive space for various communities and cultures to come together. The pavilions at Yemen Culture Week exhibit traditional handicrafts, silverware, bamboo products, and live demonstrations of Yemeni clothing design.

Visitors can explore artifacts and utensils that showcase the richness and aesthetic value of local arts. On the opening day, folk groups performed elements of Yemeni heritage and culture. Artists and creators presented a variety of activities that captivated attendees.

The "Global Harmony 2" events have been successful in attracting large crowds. Over one million visitors from different nationalities attended during the first four cultural weeks. This success highlights the initiative's effectiveness in promoting cultural and social aspects within resident communities in Saudi Arabia.
