This investment represents about 33 percent of Xpro’s total capacity and will create approximately 80 new jobs in the emirate. The new plant will supply markets in the USA, Europe, and the Far East, leveraging Ras Al Khaimah's strong international connectivity.

Chairman Sidharth Birla highlighted the strategic advantages of Ras Al Khaimah for this expansion. He said, "Our choice of Ras Al Khaimah for this expansion was significantly persuaded by its welcoming and forward-looking business climate, proximity to efficient transport hubs, and advanced infrastructure."

Birla also praised the UAE’s Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and its extensive network of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). These agreements provide unique opportunities to tap into new markets and expand their presence more effectively.

Feedback from Existing Companies

C. Bhaskar, Managing Director of Xpro India Limited and Director of Xpro Dielectric Films, noted that positive feedback from existing companies in Ras Al Khaimah influenced their decision. He stated that support from the RAKEZ team was crucial for their smooth set-up.

Bhaskar added, "The ever-present support from the RAKEZ team from day one, and their quick responses and deep insight into business needs, has been vital in ensuring our smooth set-up."

RAKEZ's Commitment

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, expressed delight at welcoming Xpro Dielectric Films to their industrial community. He said, "We are dedicated to providing a supportive business environment and comprehensive services that empower the success and growth of all our clients."

Jallad emphasized that Xpro’s decision underscores the strategic benefits Ras Al Khaimah offers to global manufacturers. He looks forward to seeing Xpro's positive contributions to their dynamic business ecosystem.

Xpro’s Indian facilities already meet about one-third of domestic demand in India and export to western markets. The new facility will further enhance their ability to serve international markets efficiently.

The vision of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi for Ras Al Khaimah is based on economic diversification and sustainable development. This vision aligns with Xpro’s goals for global recognition.

This expansion reflects Xpro’s commitment to leveraging strategic locations like Ras Al Khaimah for growth. The company aims to strengthen its global footprint while contributing positively to local economies.
