X Empowers Creators To Level Up Content At The 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026

The fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit gathered large global audiences in Dubai, while platform X used the event to highlight tools for digital creators. Across three days, from 9 to 11 January 2026, X focused on practical guidance that helps creators strengthen their brands, reach communities and generate revenue from their work.

Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the 1 Billion Followers Summit ran under the theme ‘Content for Good’. Sessions took place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, DIFC and the Museum of the Future, drawing creators, media professionals, technology specialists and business leaders interested in content strategies and platform innovation.

X Helps Creators Level Up at Summit

Within the summit venue, X operated X Cafe as a dedicated hub for training and networking. The platform hosted a series of Good on X sessions that broke down content approaches for specific industries, giving attendees detailed playbooks that showed how leading creators grow influence and manage communities in different market segments.

Good on X: Gaming, led by X’s Client Partner Farah Hamdan and Senior Client Account Manager Joud Boksmati, examined how prominent gaming influencers and esports organisations expand fan bases. The session looked at content formats, audience engagement and partnership models that help gaming communities remain active, while also discussing how data insights support long-term audience loyalty.

For lifestyle topics, X’s Client Partner Widad Salem and Senior Account Manager Aleksandra Tasic delivered Good on X: Lifestyle. This session outlined how fashion and beauty creators use X to shape trends, launch new looks and build recognisable personal brands. Speakers detailed how style-focused content can translate into sustainable businesses for creators and partner labels.

Good on X: Sports, presented by content creator Nadim El Nouri, shared methods athletes and teams use to connect with supporters on X. The session highlighted real-time updates, fan conversations and sponsorship storytelling. Good on X: Travel, led by Senior Client Account Manager Hazem Elghousin, explained how tourism brands and travel creators build strong visibility and trust with global audiences.

Beyond vertical-specific workshops, X hosted keynote sessions centred on wider platform strategy and technical capabilities. Joelle Yazbeck, Lead of Content Partnerships for MENA, X, led Content and Amplify, which examined how the platform supports authentic collaborations across sports, fashion, gaming and culture, and looked at how creators can use these relationships to broaden impact.

1 Billion Followers Summit keynotes, tools and creator community on X

For attendees aiming to use advanced features, Nadim El Nouri ran Unlocking the Power of X. The masterclass covered in-depth search techniques, real-time analytics and monetisation pathways. Participants were shown how to interpret performance data, refine posting strategies and align content schedules with audience behaviour to maximise engagement.

Creative Solutions on X, presented by Stephanie Terroir, Brand Strategy Lead for MENA, X, offered an overview of the platform’s creative toolset. The session included the AI assistant Grok and showed how creators and brands can turn live conversations into structured, shareable content formats, while keeping posts relevant to ongoing cultural and regional discussions.

To support informal collaboration, X hosted the X Originals Club: Creator Happy Hour every day of the summit inside X Cafe. This small-scale gathering allowed creators from gaming, lifestyle, sports, travel and other fields to speak directly with X representatives and exchange experiences with fellow influencers designing new content formats on the platform.

The wider 1 Billion Followers Summit featured more than 580 sessions and specialised networks, with over 30,000 attendees visiting from various countries. The event brought together 15,000+ content creators and influencers, more than 500 expert speakers with a combined following exceeding 3.5 billion, and over 150 CEOs and global experts from related industries.
