World Taekwondo Cadet Championships Fujairah 2025 To Start On May 10 At Zayed Sports Complex

The World Taekwondo Cadet Championships Fujairah 2025 will commence on 10th May at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah. This event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, will feature top teams and clubs from across the globe. It is the first time such a championship is being held in this region.

The championship promises to be a highly competitive event, showcasing international players and champions. Professional organisations are supporting this significant sporting occasion. Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the UAE Taekwondo Federation and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, highlighted the importance of individual sports to H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.

Fujairah Hosts World Taekwondo Cadet Championships

Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, stated that organising this championship is a result of continuous efforts to enhance sports infrastructure in Fujairah. He mentioned that the event will attract wide international participation and utilise advanced technologies in refereeing and organisation to ensure its success.

The Higher Organising Committee has confirmed that all technical and organisational preparations are complete for welcoming participating delegations. The committee also noted that this year's edition will receive extensive international media coverage due to its growing popularity.

Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi also emphasised the ongoing support from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. He stated that H.H. Sheikh Mohammed's support is crucial in establishing this unique sporting event in Fujairah and beyond.

The championship is expected to draw a large audience, reflecting its increasing popularity worldwide. This aligns with the UAE’s position as a prominent player in global sports.
