World Police Summit Awards 2025 Accepting Nominations With New AI And Startup Categories

The World Police Summit Awards is now open for nominations for its fourth edition, featuring two new categories: Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing and the Innovation Award for Startups. These additions bring the total number of award categories to 12, celebrating excellence across various policing and security fields.

The awards honour achievements in several categories, including Excellence in Criminal Investigation, Anti-Narcotics, People of Determination Excellence, Best Police Application, Innovative Ideas in Security & Law Enforcement, Customer Service in Policing, Road Safety, Forensic Science, Good Samaritan Award, Best Artificial Intelligence Implementation in Policing, Startups Innovation Award, and the Inspiring Female Officer Award.

The World Police Summit Awards Ceremony is a key highlight of the World Police Summit. Scheduled at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13th to 15th May 2025, this event will gather law enforcement personnel, experts, academics, and government representatives to discuss global law enforcement challenges.

Held annually in Dubai, the summit is a premier global platform that brings together law enforcement professionals, government officials, security experts, and technology innovators worldwide. It facilitates high-level discussions on modern policing challenges like advancements in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The awards aim to highlight accomplishments of law enforcement personnel globally. Emphasising technology's critical role in policing is crucial. The awards focus on international cooperation and tackling transnational crime. The World Police Summit Awards has begun accepting nominations from law enforcement personnel worldwide. Eligible professionals can submit applications following criteria outlined on the official website.

In 2025, there was a 55% increase in submitted nominations compared to the previous edition. Law enforcement personnel worldwide must apply before 31st March 2025. The award jury consists of leading global academics specialising in policing sciences. Nominees go through multiple stages before three candidates per category advance to the final round.

Celebrating Past Successes

In the 2024 edition with ten award categories, winners included agencies and individuals from Brazil, Italy, Spain, Canada, India, Qatar, Pakistan, and the UAE. Commenting on the launch of this year's edition Captain Marwan Abdullah Al Mulla stated: "The World Police Summit Awards provide a significant opportunity to recognise and honor the achievements of law enforcement professionals."
