World Police Summit Awards 2025 Recognise Excellence In Global Law Enforcement Across Twelve Categories
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, recently celebrated the achievements of the fourth World Police Summit Awards winners. The event, marked by a grand gala dinner, saw participation from senior law enforcement officials worldwide. The awards recognised exceptional contributions to both global and local security efforts.
Among those present were Dr. Major General Ahmad Zaal bin Kreshan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Major General Harib Muhammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation. Lieutenant General Al Marri commended the high quality of submissions, noting over 900 entries for the 2025 edition, indicating increased international interest in the Summit.

The awards spanned 12 categories, highlighting diverse areas of policing excellence. SDPO Sargodha City Police Station in Pakistan was honoured for Excellence in Criminal Investigation. Hyderabad Police in India received recognition for their Narcotics Control Wing Project under Excellence in Anti-Narcotics.
The Hong Kong Police Force earned accolades for Best Innovation in Policing and Security with their "Rescue" Project. CATT Labs from the United States won the Start-Up Innovation Award. Italy’s Postal Police Cybersecurity Unit was awarded for Excellence in Police Customer Service with their "Hacker Tracking" Project.
Malta's European Forensics Institute received recognition for Excellence in Forensics and Criminology. The Global Road Safety Partnership from Switzerland was acknowledged for its Police Executive Leadership Programme under Excellence in Road Safety.
The Secretariat of Public Safety in Chihuahua State, Mexico, was awarded Best Use of AI in Policing for their Sentinela Security Platform. The Ethiopian Federal Police won Best Police App with their "Citizen Engagement" App.
Honouring Inspirational Figures
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Mariam Darwish Al Hashmi from Fujairah Police, UAE, was named Most Inspirational Female Officer. Clara Magalhães Martins (Ukraine–Brazil) received recognition for Best Community Contribution in Policing through her "Robin Hood" Project.
Adele Gesu, Deputy Director of Road Police Operations in Italy, was honoured for Excellence in Policing for People of Determination. These awards highlight significant contributions to various aspects of policing and community service worldwide.
Following the ceremony, Lieutenant General Al Marri also acknowledged Abdulrahman Al Marzouqi as the winner of the International AI Challenge. He extended gratitude to partners and sponsors who played a crucial role in making the 2025 World Police Summit successful.
