Mohammed Bin Rashid Visits Media Centre And Cybersecurity Centre At World Governments Summit 2026
The World Governments Summit 2026 is underway in Dubai under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’, running until 5 February. The event gathers senior global decision-makers, while Dubai also hosts a dedicated media centre and an operations and cybersecurity centre supporting the summit’s agenda and communications work.
According to organisers, the World Governments Summit 2026 hosts more than 60 heads of state and government, as well as their deputies. Over 500 ministers, representatives from more than 150 governments, and more than 6,250 participants join thought leaders and experts for discussions on future governance models.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the summit’s media centre and the operations and cybersecurity centre. H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, accompanied Sheikh Mohammed during the visit.
H.H. was also accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee; H.H. Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit; and a number of senior officials.
Sheikh Mohammed said: "Media is the strategic partner for delivering accurate messaging and raising awareness, while cybersecurity is the primary line of defence, safeguarding data and business continuity. These elements are complemented by teams that drive action and achievement. This integrated system builds trust, secures milestones and creates a lasting, positive impact.
