It will feature a world-class training centre, accommodations for athletes, and office spaces for the federation's operations. From this location, World Aquatics will manage swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming, open water swimming, and high diving globally.

World Aquatics President Husain Al Musallam highlighted the strategic partnership with Hungary during the groundbreaking ceremony. He emphasised that the project offers a chance to access advanced medical and sports science services. This collaboration will also strengthen ties with Hungarian universities to boost innovation and scientific research in sports.
