Wonders Of Arabia Exhibition Showcases Saudi Culture At Expo 2025 Osaka

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has unveiled its participation at Expo 2025 Osaka with the "Wonders of Arabia" exhibition. This event, held from July 10 to 16, celebrates 70 years of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan. The Kingdom's pavilion showcases a variety of sections designed to immerse visitors in Saudi Arabia's cultural richness.

Visitors can explore Saudi Arabia’s vibrant cultural heritage through interactive displays and engaging photo booths. Live demonstrations of both Saudi and Japanese calligraphy are featured, along with workshops on traditional handicrafts like pottery making and decorative arts. These activities aim to provide an immersive experience for attendees.

Dedicated zones within the exhibition highlight unique attractions from regions such as Diriyah, Riyadh, Aseer, Jeddah, the Red Sea, and AlUla. A notable feature is the "Origami Camel" sculpture, symbolising the deep cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Japan. This artistic piece serves as a bridge connecting the two nations' rich histories.

A special collaboration with Doraemon, a beloved Japanese character, adds a unique touch to the event. The first 250 visitors each day who participate in competitions will receive limited-edition Doraemon items. This partnership aims to enhance visitor engagement and celebrate cultural exchange.

Sports enthusiasts have much to explore at the exhibition. They can take photos inside a recreation of Cristiano Ronaldo's locker room and discover his personal recommendations for top destinations in Saudi Arabia. This feature provides fans with a closer look at Ronaldo's connection to the country.

The exhibition also offers an interactive virtual reality experience simulating Formula 1 races. Visitors can immerse themselves in the thrilling world of motorsport through this cutting-edge technology. Additionally, highlights on the Esports World Cup currently underway in Riyadh are showcased.

Looking ahead, there is excitement surrounding the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2034™, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia. The exhibition provides insights into this major sporting event, building anticipation among visitors for what promises to be a significant occasion in global sports.
