WHX Tech 2025 Concludes With Emphasis On Agnostic AI And Femtech Innovations

The first WHX Tech event, a three-day digital health innovation platform, recently concluded at Dubai World Trade Centre. It featured discussions on the future of digital health across three stages. The event also announced the winner of the region's first digital health start-up competition, awarding a US$50,000 prize to support their business growth.

Atif Albraiki, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Dubai Health, highlighted the event's role in fostering collaboration within the industry ecosystem to drive innovation. "Participating in the inaugural WHX Tech 2025 has been an opportunity to demonstrate how we, at Dubai Health, are harnessing digital innovation and artificial intelligence to reimagine the way care is delivered. By showcasing initiatives such as smart hospital rooms, AI-enabled pain management, and intelligent medical records, we are translating technology into smarter, more personalised experiences for patients," he added.

The WHX Tech programme included over 200 expert speakers and 300 exhibitors. Sessions addressed challenges and opportunities in digital health for displaced populations. A panel discussion also explored how women are reshaping health innovation and investment. These sessions provided insights into the evolving landscape of digital health.

The Xcelerate competition was a highlight of the event. As the region’s largest start-up contest dedicated to digital health, it concluded with 40 companies presenting their solutions. Strolll emerged as the winner of the Xcelerate Champion of Innovation Award for its digital therapeutic software designed for augmented reality (AR) glasses.

Sally Thompson, Group Event Director at Informa Markets, expressed satisfaction with the event's conclusion. "Being able to see the winner crowned of the region's largest digital health start-up competition as we close the doors on WHX Tech’s inaugural edition was a great ending to a fantastic three days," she said. The event successfully showcased innovations that promise to transform healthcare delivery.
