WGS Hosts 4th Arab Meeting For Young Leaders On February 10 To Empower Youth Development

The World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025 will host the 4th Arab Meeting for Young Leaders. This event is organised by the Arab Youth Centre (AYC) and the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports. It will occur on 10th February under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated, "The Arab Meeting for Young Leaders has become a key platform for highlighting the vital role of youth in driving development and finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing Arab societies. It underscores the importance of empowering and supporting young people to become active participants in building a brighter future for their communities and nations."

WGS Hosts Arab Meeting for Young Leaders

The meeting, themed ‘Made in the Arab World: Arab Identity, Global Impact’, will gather over 200 participants. These include Arab youth ministers, community leaders, and representatives from development organisations. A select group of young leaders from various fields across all Arab countries will also be present.

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Vice Chairman of the AYC, expressed commitment to enhancing youth empowerment efforts in 2025. He noted that insights from previous meetings would guide discussions on creating opportunities for youth in both private and public sectors.

The fourth edition will feature a ministerial panel with institutional leaders and influential young figures from diverse fields. Experts will discuss promoting national industries, government initiatives empowering youth in private sectors, and international organisations' roles in job training within the region.

Sheikh Theyab welcomed youth participation along with leaders from youth organisations at this UAE gathering. He praised their efforts to enhance pan-Arab collaboration focusing on capacity building, talent discovery, and supporting creative individuals.

Reports and Studies Presentation

The meeting will unveil findings from reports on Arab youth's potential and competitiveness in the job market. These insights aim to foster a vibrant social economy through collaborative local and regional initiatives dedicated to youth empowerment.

This event serves as a collaborative platform for entities invested in empowering Arab youth across various developmental pathways. It showcases best practices while acting as a launchpad for regional initiatives designed to build capacity, develop skills, and create enabling environments.
