Wajib Voluntary Association Hosts Ramadan Majlis Emphasising Zayed’s Values And Community Solidarity
Under the auspices of Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the Wajib Voluntary Association hosted its fifth annual Ramadan Majlis in Abu Dhabi. The event, themed "Zayed’s Values and Community Solidarity," was organised in partnership with the Trends Research & Advisory Centre. It reflects the UAE's leadership vision and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's directives to foster societal communication and national unity.
The gathering brought together notable officials, leaders, and community volunteering pioneers. Discussions centred on the values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to promote community solidarity, aligning with the "Year of Community" initiative. These discussions aimed to highlight how these values contribute to a cohesive society.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan underscored that embracing Zayed’s values of generosity is crucial for enhancing social cohesion. He stated that these gatherings during Ramadan are vital for reinforcing positive values and encouraging a culture of volunteerism and giving. This aligns with the leadership's vision of building a unified society.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research & Advisory, highlighted that the values established by Sheikh Zayed continue to be fundamental in promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence. He commended the UAE's legacy of giving as an inspiring global example, emphasising its role in fostering community engagement.
