India Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri Strengthens Bilateral Relations During UAE Visit

On June 10, 2025, Vikram Misri, the Foreign Secretary of India, embarked on a diplomatic mission to Abu Dhabi, UAE. Another significant meeting was with HE Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the UAE Federal National Council and a leading figure in defense and foreign affairs. This meeting focused on counterterrorism efforts, where both sides reiterated their commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms. Misri's visit to the UAE was a strategic follow-up to the 15th Joint Commission Meeting that took place in New Delhi on December 13, 2024, between Dr. S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the UAE. The visit served as an opportunity to review and reinforce the commitments made during this high-level meeting, highlighting the continuous efforts to enhance the bilateral relations between India and the UAE.
