Vice Minister Eng. Waleed ElKhereiji Addresses Global Challenges At UN Alliance Of Civilizations Forum

Eng. Waleed ElKhereiji, representing Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, attended the 10th United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Global Forum in Lisbon. He stressed the need for global cooperation to tackle current challenges and promote peaceful coexistence. The Vice Minister highlighted Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing cooperation among governments, civil society, and educational institutions. These include establishing the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue and the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center. These efforts showcase Saudi Arabia's dedication to promoting tolerance and coexistence.

Saudi Arabia has launched various initiatives to foster tolerance among diverse societal components. The establishment of a moderation center aims to combat extremist ideologies effectively. These initiatives underscore the Kingdom's belief in diversity as a source of strength and richness.
