Uzbekistan's President Mirziyoyev Hosts Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed To Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, welcomed H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Tashkent. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, led a UAE delegation on an official visit. The meeting at the Presidential Palace highlighted the UAE's dedication to strengthening ties with Uzbekistan.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to President Mirziyoyev and the Uzbek people. He emphasised the enduring relationship between the two nations, focusing on political and economic cooperation for a brighter future.
The discussions explored new cooperation opportunities in various sectors, particularly in enhancing government excellence, digital transformation, and innovation. Both sides aimed to expand knowledge exchange and share expertise in areas of mutual interest.
Present at the meeting were several key UAE officials: Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; and Dr. Saeed Matar Al Qemzi, UAE Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
