US President Trump Welcomes HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman For Strategic Summit At The White House

President Donald Trump welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at the White House in Washington, D.C. The official reception included a cavalry escort for HRH the Crown Prince's motorcade, a review of the honor guard, and a military band performance. Additionally, 19 artillery rounds were fired as a gesture of welcome.

Following the reception, President Trump guided HRH the Crown Prince on a tour of the White House. They then participated in a Saudi-U.S. summit where they discussed enhancing their strategic partnership across various fields. The discussions also covered regional and international developments, focusing on strengthening security and stability globally.

The summit concluded with HRH the Crown Prince and President Trump signing a strategic defense agreement. Several bilateral agreements and memoranda were also signed. These included partnerships in artificial intelligence, civil nuclear energy cooperation, securing supply chains for critical minerals, and facilitating Saudi investments.

Additional agreements focused on financial and economic partnerships aimed at prosperity, cooperation in financial markets, education and training MoUs, and vehicle safety standards. These agreements highlight the commitment to deepening ties between Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The Saudi delegation included key figures such as Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Ambassador Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi; Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan; and PIF Governor Yasir Alrumayyan.

The U.S. delegation featured Vice President J.D. Vance; Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Secretary of War Pete Hegseth; Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent; Secretary of Energy Chris Wright; White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles; and Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

Aerial Display Marks Arrival

An aerial military display marked HRH the Crown Prince's arrival in Washington, D.C., with fighter jets flying over as part of the welcome ceremony. This display underscored the significance of his visit to strengthen bilateral relations further.
