University Of Sharjah And Proactive Link Collaborate To Advance Dental Implant Training For Students

The University of Sharjah's College of Dental Medicine has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Proactive Link Medical Equipment. This company is the exclusive distributor of Biohorizons, a renowned name in dental implant systems. The agreement aims to enhance educational and research initiatives while improving students' skills in dental implant training and advanced clinical techniques.

Prof. Sausan Al Kawas, Acting Dean of the College of Dental Medicine, signed the memorandum on behalf of the University. Mohammad Anas Assi, Chief Executive Officer of Proactive Link Medical Equipment, represented his company. The collaboration seeks to promote academic and practical cooperation by providing dental implant systems and necessary materials for training programmes.

UOS Partners with Proactive Link for Dental Training

The partnership includes organising workshops and scientific training sessions for students, facilitated by company experts. Proactive Link will supply Biohorizons products and accessories tailored to the College's practical training needs. Additionally, they will offer technical and scientific support through specialised consultants and experts.

Prof. Al Kawas highlighted that this memorandum signifies the University of Sharjah’s dedication to forming meaningful partnerships with healthcare institutions. She stated that such collaborations advance practical education for dental students and align with global innovations in implantology.

Mohammad Anas Assi expressed enthusiasm for this partnership, emphasising its role in empowering young national talents. He noted that equipping them with essential knowledge and expertise in dental implants aligns with strengthening the UAE’s healthcare sector.
