University Of Sharjah And Moscow State Institute Of International Relations Sign MoU To Enhance Academic Cooperation

The University of Sharjah (UOS) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). This agreement aims to bolster academic and research ties, facilitating expertise exchange and joint programme development between the institutions. Prof. Yousef Haik, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UOS, and Prof. Artem Malgin, Vice Rector at MGIMO, signed the MoU.

Present at the signing were Prof. Abdelaziz Soufyane, Director of the International Relations Office, and Dr. Asmaa Awad, Director of the Language Institute. The MoU focuses on fostering cooperation in creating joint academic and research programmes. It also encourages student and faculty exchanges in shared fields like linguistics and cross-cultural communication.

UOS and MGIMO Strengthen Academic Ties with MoU

The agreement also aims to promote collaborative events such as conferences, symposiums, and workshops. These initiatives will support launching joint academic programmes and research projects that advance higher education and scientific research.
