All ticket categories for the fourth 1 Billion Followers Summit have sold out, signalling intense demand for the global content creator gathering. The event takes place next Friday in Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and runs across Emirates Towers, DIFC and the Museum of the Future under the theme ‘Content for Good’.

Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the three-day summit is described as the world’s largest event focused on the content creator economy. This edition is expected to welcome more than 30,000 attendees, including over 15,000 content creators. More than 500 speakers, with a combined audience of 3.5 billion followers, are scheduled to join.

Organisers say the programme features more than 580 activities, including keynote sessions, workshops, debates, fireside chats and roundtables. Regional and international specialists, among them over 150 CEOs and experts, will discuss the latest trends shaping the creator economy, with particular attention to the future role and growing influence of digital platforms worldwide.

Tickets were offered in three main categories. The VIP option provided three-day access to all sessions, speaker halls and roundtables, along with entry to off-summit events and the closing ceremony. Expo and Creator Pro tickets granted three-day access to sessions across the summit’s three tracks: Technology, Economy and Content, designed to support both new and experienced creators.

The Creator Pro ticket also included access to off-summit events and the closing event, plus additional privileges aimed at professionals seeking to expand their industry connections. Organisers say these structured tracks are intended to help attendees gain maximum benefit from the summit’s agenda, which combines technical learning, economic insight and content-focused discussions.

The summit’s speaker line-up brings together prominent names from entertainment, business, sport and digital media. James Stephen Donaldson (MrBeast), creator of the world’s largest YouTube channel by subscribers, is scheduled to appear. The programme also lists Lara Trump, a TV producer and host; American actor and producer Will Smith; comedian and producer Max Amini; British investor Simon Squibb; Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar; and retired English footballer Rio Ferdinand.

For the second consecutive year, the 1 Billion Followers Summit will host several leading social media and streaming platforms in one venue. Confirmed participants include Snapchat, X, YouTube, TikTok, Google Gemini, Meta brands Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as Disney+ and TWITCH. Their presence underlines the summit’s role as a meeting point for the wider digital media ecosystem.

1 Billion Followers Summit initiatives and creator economy impact

The 1 Billion Followers Summit has also introduced initiatives that attracted international attention. One is the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign, launched with MrBeast and supported by MBRGI and the Varkey Foundation. Organisers say the campaign inspired more than 170,000 acts of kindness and generated over 100,000 views within three weeks, aligning with the ‘Content for Good’ theme.

Another initiative is the AI Film Award, organised in partnership with Google Gemini. Valued at $1 million, organisers describe it as the world’s largest award of its type. The award attracted interest from more than 30,000 people across 116 countries and received 3,500 film entries, highlighting growing interest in AI-driven creative work.

Organisers state that the strong demand for this fourth edition confirms the summit’s role as a platform for inspiration, knowledge sharing and professional opportunities. The rising attendance also reflects the wider growth of the content industry in the region and globally, driven by awareness of media’s ability to support positive change and by a new wave of ambitious creators.

With tickets sold out and a packed programme, the 1 Billion Followers Summit is set to gather leading creators, platforms and industry figures in Dubai. The event is expected to serve as a key networking and learning space for content creators seeking to develop careers, understand emerging trends and engage with the expanding digital media economy.
