The Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) is showcasing the UAE's significant progress in human rights at the 57th regular session of the Human Rights Council. This event is taking place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The UAE is recognised as a key global partner in advancing human rights worldwide.

Running from 9th September to 9th October, the session includes three cultural exhibitions and international events organised by UAHR. These exhibitions are held at the United Nations Plaza and highlight the UAE's achievements in areas like climate protection, environmental safety, peace promotion, tolerance, coexistence, and smart digital justice.

Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Kaabi leads UAHR's delegation, which comprises international experts. Emirati volunteers are also involved in organising these exhibitions. The events are conducted in collaboration with NGOs that hold consultative status, emphasising the UAE's commitment to fundamental rights since its inception.

During this session, UAHR will deliver 20 statements—15 oral and five written—in Arabic, English, and French. These statements address crucial human rights issues and underline the UAE's continuous efforts to enhance and protect these rights globally.

UAHR is also hosting international seminars attended by UN experts and leaders of global organisations. These seminars focus on topics of shared global interest, fostering discussions on enhancing human rights practices worldwide.

The UAE remains dedicated to humanitarian support and collaborates with various UN bodies focused on human rights. This commitment reflects its forward-looking approach to improving human rights standards both domestically and internationally.

The association's participation underscores its role in promoting peace and tolerance while supporting environmental initiatives. By engaging with international partners, UAHR aims to strengthen global cooperation in safeguarding human rights for all.
