Umrah Participation On Ramadan Fourth Day Surpasses 904,000 At Grand Mosque

More than 904,000 Umrah performers visited the Grand Mosque on Saturday, the fourth day of Ramadan, in a strong early-season turnout. Pilgrims arrived from across Saudi Arabia and many other countries, using services designed to keep movement steady and ensure comfort throughout the mosque’s facilities.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque reported that the recorded numbers reflect major efforts to deploy human and technical capabilities. These resources support Umrah performers under strict quality standards and operational efficiency, especially in all crowd-related operations.

Comprehensive crowd management plans at the Grand Mosque aim to keep all areas operating safely and smoothly. These plans include detailed arrangements for entry, exit, and circulation, helping prevent congestion. They also coordinate with security and service teams, so pilgrims can complete their rites with minimal disruption.

Operational teams work around the clock to manage Tawaf and Sa’i routes, enhance cleanliness, and maintain regular sterilisation. Multilingual guidance and awareness services assist Umrah performers who speak different languages. This integrated system is designed to make the rituals easier, calmer, and more organised for visitors at every stage.

Relevant authorities cooperate closely with the General Authority to provide a complete spiritual experience, especially as numbers rise during Ramadan. Preparations are reinforced ahead of the final ten days of the month, while the Kingdom continues its long-term mission to support the two holy mosques and offer a secure, well-prepared worship environment.
