UAEV Collaborates With Autel To Strengthen National EV Charging Network And Smart Energy Solutions

Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV) has partnered with Autel Digital Power Co., Ltd to enhance the UAE's electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This collaboration aims to introduce advanced smart-charging and energy solutions nationwide. The agreement was signed during a UAEV delegation visit to Autel’s headquarters in Shenzhen, marking a significant step toward building a sustainable energy ecosystem for electric vehicle users across the country.

The partnership will explore new technologies like Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) interaction and integrated battery-energy storage systems. These innovations are tailored to meet the UAE’s specific climate and mobility needs. Research, pilot programmes, and locally optimised solutions will support the expansion of the national charging network, ensuring efficient operation even in extreme temperatures.

UAEV and Autel Enhance EV Charging Network

Autel contributes its technical expertise, including DC fast-charging systems that function in temperatures exceeding 55°C. Their capabilities also extend to advanced remote maintenance and ongoing research in power modules, cloud-platform optimisation, and AI-driven diagnostics. This collaboration with UAEV's strategic network rollout aims to create a smarter charging ecosystem that enhances consumer confidence.

Ali Al Darwish, CEO of UAEV, highlighted the importance of this partnership in advancing smart-charging solutions aligned with the UAE's clean-mobility goals. He stated, "This collaboration represents a significant step in advancing the UAE’s next generation of smart-charging and energy-management solutions. By pairing Autel’s technical strengths with our expanding national infrastructure, we are creating an ecosystem that is more resilient, more intelligent, and fully aligned with the UAE’s clean-mobility ambitions."

Melody from Autel expressed honour in collaborating with UAEV on this national initiative. She said, "Autel is honored to collaborate with UAEV on this national initiative, which marks an important milestone in strengthening the UAE’s EV charging infrastructure. We are committed to supporting the country’s vision with advanced technologies that deliver high reliability and efficiency, and we look forward to developing innovative solutions together."

Expanding Charging Network

As part of its commitment to sustainable transportation, UAEV is expanding its charging network across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and the Northern Emirates. This expansion ensures drivers have access to fast and reliable charging wherever they travel. By 2030, UAEV plans to install over 1,000 high-speed DC chargers nationwide.

The joint efforts between UAEV and Autel aim to strengthen system resilience while enhancing overall energy efficiency. As these innovations are implemented across all seven emirates, they will play a crucial role in supporting the country's energy transition goals and Net Zero by 2050 Strategy.

This collaboration signifies a major advancement for electric vehicle infrastructure in the UAE. It combines technical innovation with strategic planning to create a robust network that meets current demands while preparing for future growth.
