UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed And Yemeni Prime Minister Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Ties
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik to discuss the strong relationship between their nations. They explored ways to enhance cooperation for mutual benefit and addressed shared concerns. The meeting occurred at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where the Yemeni Prime Minister conveyed greetings from Dr Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council.
The UAE President expressed his sincere wishes for Yemen’s stability and prosperity. He also wished the Yemeni Prime Minister success in fulfilling his national duties to Yemen and its people. His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast commitment to supporting all efforts that meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for development, security, and stability.
During their discussions, His Excellency Salem Saleh bin Braik thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the UAE's ongoing support for Yemen. He expressed his hopes for continued progress and prosperity for both nations. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing regional challenges and fostering a stable environment.
Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated by sending his greetings to Dr Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, expressing his best wishes for Yemen's future. This exchange underscored the commitment of both leaders to maintaining strong diplomatic ties and working together towards common goals.
The meeting was attended by several prominent UAE officials. These included Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.
Also present were Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs; and other senior officials. Their presence emphasized the significance of this diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
