UAE Endorses International Court's Demand For Israel To Cease Rafah Assault
The UAE has welcomed the International Court of Justice's decision to impose additional provisional measures on Israel. This decision demands an immediate halt to military operations in Rafah governorate and addresses the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the UAE's call for an immediate ceasefire, protection of civilians, and prevention of further loss of life. The Ministry stressed the need to halt escalation across all regions of the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

The Ministry emphasised the critical humanitarian crisis faced by civilians in Gaza due to continuous Israeli aggression. It reaffirmed the importance of ensuring the urgent, sustainable, and unimpeded arrival of humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip.
In this context, the Ministry stressed the significance of the Court's decision to keep the Rafah Crossing open for widespread and unhindered entry of humanitarian aid. This measure is crucial for alleviating the dire conditions faced by Gaza's residents.
The UAE continues to work with international partners to intensify efforts for the arrival and distribution of relief through all available means. This includes ensuring the safe delivery of aid by land, sea, and air.
The Ministry reiterated its call on the international community to enhance regional and international efforts to achieve peace and a two-state solution. The UAE remains committed to reinforcing peace and justice, safeguarding Palestinian rights, and establishing an independent sovereign Palestinian State in line with international resolutions.
