UAE Weather: Light To Moderate Rain And Temperatures Dip Across Emirates
The UAE has been experiencing a spell of light to moderate rain across various parts of the country, including both coastal and northern regions. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), this weather pattern began on March 11 and has continued, affecting areas such as the Al Dhafra region, Al Ain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ajman, among others. Locations like Saih Al Salam in Dubai, Mohamed Bin Zayed City, and Al Ajban in Abu Dhabi, along with Al Hamidiya in Ajman, have also reported similar rainfall conditions.
Apart from the rainfall, the weather forecast indicates that residents can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies for the duration of the day. This will be accompanied by a slight drop in temperatures across the country.

The NCM has predicted that the highest temperatures will range from 28 to 32°C, while the lowest temperatures will be between 18 and 22°C. This cooling trend is a welcome change from the usually warmer climate of the UAE. The lowest temperature recorded in the UAE this morning was 14.3°C in Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah, at 05:45 AM local time.
The weather conditions are not limited to just rainfall and lower temperatures; light to moderate winds are also expected. These winds, reaching speeds of up to 35 km/hr, are most likely to affect coastal and island areas.

Particularly, the north-westerly winds might intensify occasionally, leading to the possibility of blowing dust in certain regions. Such windy conditions could potentially impact outdoor activities and visibility in affected areas.
Furthermore, the Arabian Gulf is anticipated to experience moderate to rough sea conditions during this period. This could affect maritime activities, and residents planning to venture into the sea are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories issued by the NCM.
