Humid Morning And Dusty Conditions: UAE Weather Forecast From June 2-5, 2024

The National Meteorology Center has unveiled the weather forecast for the UAE through to June 5 (Wednesday), indicating a mix of humid mornings, a dip in temperatures, and intervals of blowing dust and sand across the days ahead.

Starting Sunday, June 2, residents can expect humid conditions in the morning, particularly across coastal regions. The day is set to be generally fair, although hazy at times, with a notable drop in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate and Northwesterly, gaining strength around noon, particularly towards the west. This increase in wind speed, ranging from 15 to 25 km/hr and peaking at 40 km/hr, is anticipated to kick up dust and sand. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are forecasted to range from moderate to rough, while the Oman Sea should remain slight.

Monday, June 3: Potential for Morning Mist

By Monday, the morning humidity could lead to mist formation over some coastal or internal areas, transitioning into a generally fair day. The wind direction will shift from Southwesterly to Northwesterly, maintaining a light to moderate pace but may freshen occasionally. This could result in blowing dust and sand, with wind speeds similar to Sunday's, achieving up to 40 km/hr. The Arabian Gulf is expected to witness rough seas during the day, which will calm down to moderate or slight by the evening. The Oman Sea will experience slight to moderate conditions.

Tuesday, June 4: Fog and Low Clouds

Tuesday's forecast suggests a possibility of fog or mist over several internal and coastal areas, underlining a generally fair weather outlook with low clouds making an appearance towards the east. The wind, switching between Southwesterly and Northwesterly, will blow at a light to moderate speed of 10 to 20 km/hr, occasionally reaching up to 30 km/hr. Both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to have slight sea conditions, making for a calm day on the water.

Wednesday, June 5: Warming Up

As we approach Wednesday, June 5, similar conditions of fog or mist in the morning over internal and coastal areas are predicted, alongside generally fair weather accompanied by low clouds towards the east. However, an important note is the expected rise in temperatures, especially across southern areas. Wind patterns will transition to Southeasterly to Northeasterly, maintaining light to moderate speeds of 10 to 20 km/hr, and could reach up to 30 km/hr. The sea state in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will remain slight.
